Chapter 1 · A fraction of who I am

You get who you are

Wanting implies lack of having

By making your own imprint onto this world by way of output and giving and creative endeavours, the world you help create is richer with your contribution. By giving more, you receive more. By providing more, you get more. When you live in a space of giving you find yourself around people who are more willing to give and therefore, you have greater opportunity to receive. The thing is, you need to be willing to give from the truth of your heart, rather than giving on the condition that you get to receive. By giving on the basis of conditions, you also attract those who are not giving freely and therefore, remain stuck in the same scope of people, so to speak, with the same desperate energy for money.

Money is energetic. If you are desperate for it, the world has abundant ways to keep you in a state of desperation for money. If anything, that is society’s predominant state of mind towards money, especially in this current economic climate.

Therefore, to “win” against an emotionally skewed system, you have to detach and not place so much emphasis on making money. Just simply be and focus on providing value to the world. The focus on giving. And this is important so that you mentally align with people who are the same. Even if there aren’t that many people like that out there, don’t think that. Just believe that there are, and they will come to you naturally. Don’t force things to be your way all the time. The universe always has its ways to bring who you are into fruition.

Notice that I say who you are, because you get who you are, not what you want. We never get what we want. Because wanting implies lack of having. You get what you are. Period. So focus on getting your mental state to be the state that you want and just adopt that state first. If you had the money, how would you feel? Relaxed and more giving? Certainly.
