Chapter 6 · Contentment, the only destination

Listen to your soul

3 min readNarrated on YouTube

Do you realise that your inner state strongly dictates your external environment? Why do some people who are brought up with nothing achieve millions? Such individuals change their inner state, which must be done first, before their external reality "catches up" to their inner state. It's just, usually, being brought up with nothing means one's inner state is aligned with lack & sadness which is hard to see when one is in it, unless their awareness is strong enough to make changes to see a different truth. We are so enmeshed in society's consumeristic regime that we don't recognise the impact it has on people's inner state.

From constant digital consumption availed to society in mass through phones, people are lethargic & full from consumption that production & creativity get suppressed & people wonder why they are sad.

It is so clear why you are sad. You replay past memories & glorify a time in your life that is gone, the past, or to be or arrive, the future. But truth is we only live in the present & that is where your attention can be directed towards rather than to the past (depression) or the future (anxiety). To solve your "mental health issues" you must simply let go of resisting this moment. Accept where you are. Take responsibility for it & listen to your intuition which always hints to you as a gut instinct, often illogical. That's actually the beauty of life.

Have and maintain that vision for yourself and as that vision materialises you may find yourself doing things you never thought to do, but the key thing here is to trust that intuition, always. You must. There are other ways to live but trusting the gut opens you constantly to a pathway that you could not have selected via logic. The path was only visible if you can trust the process & gently let go and get out of your own way to welcome all the beautiful things leading up to your ultimate vision. Having the vision is paramount importance. And blind trust is needed when you come across signs which could logically be interpreted as the end of you.

It is never the end. Each day is a beginning. Maintain the vision, bathe in the feeling you deserve and get out of your own way by listening to your heart / soul / spirit, not your mind's logic or your body's routine and habits. Your soul does not have a routine, it is pure imagination so it's very spontaneous & creative. Let it cook, let it build you a fascinating life, one that's lively, unpredictable.

Routines are spiritually devoid mechanisms to get a person to repeat the same tasks daily to the point where, even if their soul is against it, the conditioning was too powerful. So the individual seeks comfort in their routine, however terrible it is for them, & call that life.

While that is okay (after all, we all have our own way of living), once you attain awareness of your routine & how much it shapes your life, you can't go back to ignorance is bliss.

You realise with some regrettable tragedy that ignorance is just ignorance now & it leads to guilt as your soul knows you are actively ignoring gut instinct. That's not going to fly very well.

So, listen, deeply, your soul's nudges. Those quiet intuitive callings are 10x more powerful than what the mind can conceive. The mind is a builder of your reality and the soul dictates the build itself. It is simple to notice what that build should be, just stop rationalising out of what you know is truth to you.

Your soul whispers, your mind commands, yet both are equally important in the construction of your reality.

Humanity devoid of soulful awareness is always building with the mind without the guidance & whispers of wisdom from the soul. If humanity were united in soul & mind, the atom bomb would not exist as there is absolutely no need for such a destructive creation.

Listen to your soul. All it has wanted is to be heard amongst the modern day noise. Whilst it's been suppressed for so long, eventually we always find a way back to the soul, eventually and inevitably.
